2021 began a fresh new start to Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort’s branding. From a new website, commercials, jingle, and even some cosmetic changes to the casino floor, were looking at you brand new carpet and reconfigured floor! It has been a year of change and we cannot wait to see what’s next to come.
Jackson Rancheria’s Marketing Team started this rebranding journey in 2020. We teamed up with MJA Advertising and collaborated on ideas and themes for a new set of Jackson Rancheria commercials. We wanted these commercials to be fun, classy, a little cheeky, and still have that friendly Jackson Rancheria feel. About a year in the making, on July 20, 2021, commercial production took off on the casino floor! With HUGE help from various departments such as Food & Beverage, Slots, Table Games, Security, Surveillance, Facilities, and various Jackson Rancheria staff, we were able to successfully complete a three-day long commercial shoot that included over 70 production crew members and talent.
With these new commercials, we also wanted to produce a new jingle that would resonate with our guests and set a fun new tone to Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort. With the service of MJA’s Executive Producer, Scott Cooper and highly skilled Producer, Composer and Keys, Mike Eckart, a brand new custom jingle was written as they took their inspiration while relaxing out at sea on Mr. Cooper’s sailboat. On July 6, 2021, we hit the studio to record. Various musical talent came together including Gregg Bissonette on drums; best known for his work as the drummer in Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band, Doobie Bros., Ray Charles, and many more, Phillip Ingram on vocals; known for his vocal work with Sheena Easton, Shrek Soundtrack, and the Little Mermaid Soundtrack, Erm Navarro on Trombone; known for his work with Pitbull, Panic At The Disco, and David Benoit, Javier Gonzalez on Trumpet; known for his work with Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, and more, Tim Pierce on Guitar; known for his work with Michael Jackson and Phil Collins, David Hughes on Bass; known for his work with Melissa Etheridge, Burt Bacharach, and Chaka Khan, and the many other musical engineers it took to make this new jingle.
