SUMMARY

This position will help create a positive guest experience by determining the individual needs of our guests and matching it with relevant Jackson Rancheria products and services. This is done by the top-quality handling of telephone calls, answering questions about the Jackson Rancheria, booking reservations, processing payments, mailing documents and various other daily office duties.

  

Job Duties Include but are Not Limited To:

 

  1. Answers incoming phone calls.
  2. Checks availability and enters reservations for Hotel, Restaurants, RV Park, and player events.
  3. Ensures calls are answered in a prompt and professional fashion.
  4. Uses proper selling techniques and strategies to maximize revenues.
  5. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
  6. Assists in blocking of rooms for reservations.
  7. Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures.
  8. Understands room status and room status tracking.
  9. Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
  10. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
  11. Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department.  Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary.  Knows cancellation procedures.
  12. Knows how to use front office equipment.
  13. Uses proper telephone etiquette.
  14. Uses proper mail, package, and message handling procedures.
  15. Reads and initials the pass-on log and bulletin board daily.  Is aware of daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
  16. Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
  17. Knows all safety and emergency procedures.  Is aware of accident prevention policies.
  18. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the reservation area. 
  19. Understands that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts.

SUMMARY

Assist the Sales & Special Events Manager and Supervisor in the planning, preparation and execution of Special Events & Promotions.

Job Duties Include but are Not Limited To:

  1. Assist in the design and execution of tournament and special event themes, ideas, proposals, decorations, player packages, computer entrant input, and rules.
  2. Assist in the design and execution of reports, mailers, tickets, show package offers, certificates, and invitations from promotional and direct mail offers.
  3. Assists in the development and planning of Player's Club promotions.

Primary duty consists of the performance of office or non manual work directly related to the general business operation of the IT Department.  Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance as they pertain to the operations of the IT Department.

  1. Provide moderate to advanced support of PC systems for 24/7 coverage of Jackson Rancheria Network.  Includes end-user support of basic desktop, various applications, user account creation and maintenance, hardware trouble-shooting, Move-Add-Changes and training environment configuration.
  2. Assist with support of Microsoft Windows server OS 2000/2003 and workstation OS 2000/XP. 
  3. Installs and maintains network connected hardware and software, including services, peripherals, workstations, printers, gaming devices, kiosks, and PDAs.
  4. Perform administrative system support which may include gaming systems or accounting/financial systems.
  5. Responds to incidents and request placed into a service desk tracking system.
  6. Assist with change management and operational recovery planning and testing for network environments.  This includes policy, procedures, industry standards, and documentation.
  7. Prepares and maintains documentation for IT support (i.e., desktop procedures, end-user help guidelines, trouble-shooting guides and procedures).
  8. The application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or systems functional specifications.
  9. Assists in communicating and coordinating network schedule, backups, and downtime to the internal business community.

Position: Food Server (Banquets)
Shift: All Shifts, Part-tme
Pay Type: Hourly
Pay Range: $8.00 to $12.00
Requirements:

Job duties inlcude but are not limited to:

  1. Delivers prompt efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to restaurant guests in accordance with venue standards
  2. Takes and fills all food and drink orders and assists in maintaining guests dining area in a clean and neat manner
  3. Performs tray and/or cart service.
  4. Must have knowledge of the menu in its entirety and how the food is prepared in order to best serve our guests and recommend food and beverage items to the guests.
  5. Accurately enters food and beverage orders into point of sale system.
  6. Performs pre-busing of tables on a continual basis, keeping tables free of dirty dishes and excess clutter.
  7. Abides by all health and safety regulations.
  8. Monitors guests' needs, ensuring all requests for food and beverage service will be promptly fulfilled in accordance with policies and procedures.
  9. Completes maintenance work consisting of cleaning, stocking, and preparation of work areas.
  10. Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
  11. Adheres to established cash handling policies and procedures
  12. Creates a fun atmosphere for casino and restaurant guests and employees.
  13. Other duties may be assigned.
  14. Banquet Food Server duties - To provide prompt, efficient, and gracious service to banquet function guests
  15.  Duties to include serving cocktails during prescribed cocktail hours; handling cash bar transactions; serving all food & beverages during functions; tending bar when assigned and assisting to bus tables, as needed

Minimum Qualifications: 

  1. Applicant must be minimum age of 21 due to bartending duties as assigned
  2. Must have cash handling experience and ability to correctly count back change
  3. Must have knowledge of proper service etiquette
  4. Knowledge of the menu in its entirety and how it is prepared
  5. Must be proficient in tray service
  6. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and six months to one year food service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  7. Position requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
  8. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  9. Must be able to work weekends and holidays
