Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort welcomes back Lightning Boy Kory Gibbs and the Thundering Blues Band to the Grand Oak Ballroom stage on Friday, March 4 at 7 p.m.
The 15-year old guitar prodigy has been playing since he was six years old. He’s been playing guitar professionally since he was nine years old and formed his own band when he was only twelve. Over the course of the last three years, Kory has performed over eighty shows and has played all throughout Amador and Sacramento counties, including the Sutter Creek Main Theatre and Laughs Unlimited in Old Sacramento. Kory has opened for legendary rock stars like Kansas, Johnny Winter, Dizzy Reed from Guns N’Roses, and has also been a special guest of John Lee Hooker Jr. at the Sacramento Music Festival.
