The Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians owns and operates the Jackson Rancheria Casino & Hotel.
The Tribe has also constructed the Pine Woods Apartments in Jackson. Currently under construction are a 100-unit full-service RV Park and a Public Safety Building, which will house the Tribal Police Department, a new Tribal Fire Department, and a Network Operations Center. Both of these projects are expected to be completed later this year.
The Tribe is proud to be Miwuks, Americans, Californians, and citizens of Amador County. "We are all one race, the human race," says Margaret Dalton, Tribal Chairperson.
