The Amador Community College Foundation presents its 7th Annual Gala – Sunset in Santorini – at the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort Grand Oak Ballroom on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.

As one of the most anticipated community events of the year, the ACCF Gala gives guests the opportunity to travel afar for one night, while never leaving Amador County. This year the Grand Oak Ballroom will transform into the sun-drenched island of Santorini for an exclusive evening of Greek cuisine and entertainment.  Let the elegant tastes and colors of the Mediterranean wash over your senses as we come together to celebrate our shared passion for education.

Your voyage to Santorini can begin today –Tickets are $100 per person, tables of 8 and 10 are available for groups.

All proceeds benefit Amador College Connect operated by the Amador Community College Foundation, a volunteer non-profit organization. Their mission is to provide accessible education opportunities in a supportive environment for career success. Our funding priorities this year to provide a trained and educated workforce for our local economy through:

Expanding our current job apprenticeships program, giving more students access to hand-on career training.

Enrolling more students in “Year to Career” and certificate programs, so those who are ready to work can get the qualifications they need to get on the job quickly.

Providing 2 and 4 year degree-completion assistance through our expanding portfolio of college partners.

Amador College Connect offers more than 40 AA/AS degrees and certificate programs through distance education from two physical venues: one for student support services of mentoring, tutoring, and collaboration, the other for interactive video courses. ACCF’s offerings include content from Alan Hancock College, Columbia Community College, Coastline Community College, Foothill Community College, Shasta College, and Arizona State University.  These programs are especially appealing to students who have limited means of transportation and financial assistance, work full time, or want to save money for their four-year academic goals.

Sunset in Santorini is a unique opportunity for Amador County to join together for an exclusive evening inspired by the isles of Greece, while raising much-needed funds for Amador College Connect to continue to provide accredited college degree, certificate, and transfer programs locally.
