The Amador Community College Foundation presents its 6th Annual Gala – Cruising the Caribbean – at the Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort Grand Oak Ballroom on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.

As one of the most anticipated community events of the year, the ACCF Gala gives guests the opportunity to travel afar for one night right here in Amador County. This year the Garden Terrace and Grand Oak Ballroom will transform into a tropical paradise, with traditional food, music, and ambiance of the Caribbean Islands. Soak up the sun amidst palms, cool drink in hand, and dance the night away to traditional Calypso and steel drum entertainment by Caribbean Soul.

Your passport to Cruising the Caribbean – A Fundraising Gala can be purchased at: www.JacksonCasino.com or at the Cashier’s Cage in the Casino. Tickets are $100 per person. Tables of 8-10 are available for groups.

All proceeds benefit Amador College Connect operated by the Amador Community College Foundation, a volunteer non-profit organization whose mission is to provide higher educational opportunities in a supportive environment for career success.

Amador College Connect is a student resource center offering more than 40 AA/AS degrees and year to career certificates and over 100 plus BA/BS degree programs through distance education with free student support services of mentoring, tutoring, and collaboration.  ACCF’s offerings include content from Alan Hancock College, Coastline Community College, and Foothill Community College.  Four-year degree programs are offered through Arizona State University –Online. These programs are especially appealing to students who have limited means of transportation and financial assistance, work full time, or want to save money for their four-year academic goals.

Cruising the Caribbean is a unique opportunity for Amador County to join together for a fun-filled evening touring the tropics, while raising much-needed funds for Amador College Connect to continue to provide accredited college degree, certificate, and transfer programs locally.
