Eleven-time Grammy Nominee, Alan Parsons, brings his Live Project to the Grand Oak Ballroom Sunday, April 7.

Born into a family with an extensive entertainment background, he was bound for greatness. As a teenager Alan dabbled with live performances in the folk/blues realm, but soon found his road to fame in sound recording, after landing a job at Abbey Road Studios at the age of 19. He worked as an assistant engineer on the last two albums by The Beatles, but it was his contributions on Pink Floyd’s, The Dark Side of the Moon, that captured the world’s attention and led to his success as a producer.

In 1975 Parsons joined forces with Eric Woolfson and formed The Alan Parsons Project. After releasing a string of renowned hit albums, namely I Robot, Eye in the Sky, Ammonia Avenue, and Gaudi, and a brief stint in the world of musical theatre, Alan Parsons realized the need to bring his symphonic rock music to the live concert stage and has since been touring to sold out audiences throughout the globe with The Alan Parsons Live Project tour. Sunday, April 7, the tour is coming to our Grand Oak Ballroom stage and you won’t want to miss it.
